In the year known only as 2012 neon made a splash in a big way. Now, in 2013 it seems to me this trend is getting a little out of hand. Won’t you just die already? Give it up.
Even places as neutral as the Gap are messing around when it comes to neon. I believe neon is like vodka – use it in moderation or you’re going to give yourself a headache.
Don’t get me wrong now – a neon clutch or bracelet is exactly what spring fun is all about – anything more than that, though, can go back to the 80′s den it crawled out of. I’m just over this trend. Neon has actually become boring.
Are you as bored as I am? You had good run, neon. Let someone else have a turn in the spot light, eh?
